Right now I'm reading "The Life You Save May Be Your Own" about O'Conner, Percy, Thomas Merton and Dorothy Day. I don't know much about any of them but I'm finding it fascinating reading.

I was mesmerized by that very well written book when I read it in the fall of 2006, which I picked up on a trip to visit the homeplace of Flannery O'Connor in Milledgeville, Georgia. The book is an excellent example of combined literary criticism and biography.
