I'm glad you are back to posting your thoughts!

If you enjoyed Gentle Regrets, you might also enjoy the Roger Scruton Reader that was published last year. I've enjoyed many of his essays in it. I attended one of his Gifford Lectures last year at St. Andrews, and he is every bit as interesting and magnanimous in person. Very enjoyable indeed!

Thanks for the information, Ashli. I hope you and Matt are doing well. I will likely be posting on a couple of other Scruton books I have found interesting lately. You are fortunate to have been able to hear him in person. I understand he divides his time between England and Northern Virginia these days, living in Virginia horse country. I am told he is quite an avid fox hunter.
